Description
If there were such a thing as a Christmas Music Hall Of Fame, then surely the men and women featured in this book would have to be unanimously selected for membership. Their songs have left a legacy of joy, happiness, and pleasant memories for generations of people around the world. The real life events surrounding their inspired works read like a storybook.

The "Christmas Music Companion Fact Book" is the chronological history of our best known Christmas hymns, carols, and songs, as well as information about the writers and composers who created them. From "Joy to the World" to "Jingle Bell Rock", this fun and informative book has something for everyone. There is a list of the top 50 all-time Christmas songs and the stories behind them, a Christmas music timeline, an overview of Christmas music through the years, and a special section of Christmas music trivia.

As a bonus, this book includes a fake book version (melody line, lyrics and chord symbols) of 28 of the songs. Consider the 28 songs a bonus. The main reason to buy this book is the music history, interesting facts, and trivia found between the covers. "Christmas Music Companion Fact Book" weighs 12.16 oz.
